This well-respected inner city spa hotel offers beautiful, unique rooms and an organic café. It is situated in Vesterbro, close to Tivoli Gardens and local transport links. Axel Hotel Guldsmeden finished number 5 on Condé Nast Traveller's Hot List 2008. The original Balinese style rooms and suites have Persian rugs, wooden floors, genuine art on the walls and modern technology such as flat-screen TVs and DVD-players. All rooms are equipped with Guldsmeden's own organic bath products. The sumptuous organic breakfast buffet is served from handmade Mexican crockery and can be enjoyed in the lovely heated courtyard or in the restaurant. Guldsmeden's luxurious spa includes a sauna, cold and hot tubs, steam bath with essential oils and a meditation and yoga area. All spa products are organic.
